The El Capitan Theatre was opened in 1926 by Sid Grauman and Charles Toberman. Now owned by the Walt Disney Company, the complex includes the adjacent El Capitan Entertainment Centre (in the old Hollywood Masonic Temple), which is home to Jimmy Kimmel Live!
