Hollywood Museum
The Hollywood Museum is located in the old Max Factor building at Hollywood and Highland boulevards. It bills itself as having the largest collection of Hollywood memorabilia in the world. The building also contains Mel’s Drive-in, which is an homage to the original Mel’s from American Graffiti, which was regrettably demolished shortly after filming of that movie in the early 1970s. Among the items in these photos are the original jail cells from The Silence of the Lambs, along with miniatures from The Grand Budapest Hotel and It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
