Actress Lea Thompson will make a special appearance at the 2017 Florida Film Festival on April 23 at 7 p.m. at the Enzian Theater in Maitland. She will screen the original Back to the Future and participate in a Q&A session.
In addition to playing Lorraine McFly in the Back to the Future trilogy, Thompson is known for her roles in Switched at Birth, Some Kind of Wonderful, The Beverly Hillbillies and Caroline in the City.
Thompson is the fourth major celebrity scheduled for this year’s festival, addition to Billy Crudup, David Zucker and Robert Hays. For more information on the festival, see my previous festival article.
