Short Film of the Day: ‘I Have a Message for You’
April 9, 2020
I Have a Message for You (2017), which I first saw at the 2018 Central Florida Jewish Film Festival, is a partially animated documentary about survival. Directed by Matan Rochlitz, this 13-minute, French-language mini-masterpiece confronts the legacy of the Holocaust, but it does so with astonishing unpredictability. It’s a masterclass in short-doc moviemaking.
