Margaret Mitchell House & Museum
Dating from 1899, this building on Atlanta’s Peachtree Street now houses a museum devoted to Margaret Mitchell and Gone with the Wind, while an adjacent structure has more exhibits on the film. Mitchell’s apartment on the ground floor is preserved, with period furniture and decoration.
